Cary Frank

Cary leads the business side of Cannon Frank, primarily supervising the other staff members, manufacturers and vendors and tending to the requests of clients.Cary is also responsible for defining the business strategy and executing plans to continue building Cannon Frank and driving awareness of and interest in the firm’s design services.

Cary’s design philosophy is “you can never redecorate too often.”

John Cannon
John began his career in interior design in the 1970s and has been partners with Cary Frank since 1980, when they founded Cannon Frank.

John attended the Ray Vogue School of Art (now named the Illinois Institute of Art) and has traveled all over the world designing homes, offices, restaurants, furniture, terraces, carpets, gardens and pools for clients. John’s projects range from small (usually second and third homes or yachts for satisfied clients and their grown children or updates to previously designed homes) to very grand–having recently completed a single residence totaling 28,000 square feet. Currently, Cannon Frank is working on developing a 15,000 meter (161,500 square foot) twin-tower building in Ghana, Africa.

John’s design philosophy is “first giving the clients what they want, and then taking them ten paces beyond their goal.”
