This pristine family home, originally designed as merely a residence, has been transformed into a serene space filled with contemporary art and furnishings — not simply for an attractive result, but for comfort and balance between the modern periods of the 20th century.

A collaborative effort between architectural firm Nagle Hartray and Cannon Frank, this home features classic contemporary furnishings in tones taken from nature. While all of the functions of the home were met, the feeling of a young, spiritual and timeless interior were paramount for the clients, and even their small children became familiar with the classic lines of Mondrian and Eames. This was not a challenge in the normal sense; rather, it was an exercise in keeping up the level of “experimentation” in blending such new classics.
