This modern home is the second residence Cannon Frank designed for this growing family with four small children.  The goal for the clients’ residence was to have Cannon Frank create a comfortable family home within a contemporary environment.

Located in north suburban Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan, this residence offers the large-scale openness unique to contemporary homes, yet provides the warmth the clients craved.  As the clients pursued their quest for fine art, the atmosphere of the home continued to grow.  Cannon Frank designed this home with an influence of Asian style (not just with artifacts, but with spirit!).

In addition to selecting the beautiful furnishings, Cannon Frank designed all of the interior architecture throughout the home.  This includes the staircase, the curved glass wall railing, all millwork, fireplaces, flooring, lighting, plumbing, appliances and finishes.

The foyer of this home was featured in the ABC television show Crisis, starring Gillian Anderson.
