Dining by Design
Rarely having the opportunity to work without parameters, Cannon Frank decided to create a unique space for Elle Décor’s Dining by Design fundraiser (benefiting DIFFA – Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) with original pieces and high quality reproductions. The requirements for the event are that each designer must work in an 11’ x 11’ space, be able to accommodate a group for dinner, and have a vessel for champagne. According to David Sheppard, DIFFA’s Executive Director, the only similarity is that “each table engages and challenges the viewer, allowing them to glimpse the intimate, unexpected or unknown genius of its creator.”
